'Take and Make' Winter Recipe Kits for Locals
This winter, SW1IC collaborated with Councillor Liza Begum and Mary Smith’s Pantry to help ensure households in Westminster were supported with hot meals during the winter break. Over 490 Take and Make Recipe Kits, generously provided by the Mayor’s Fund for London, were distributed to local residents, transforming surplus food into nourishing meals.
The event was a wonderful display of community spirit, with residents, volunteers, and local leaders working together to make it a success. Our heartfelt thanks go to Councillor Liza Begum for securing the kits, Mike Smith for hosting us at Mary Smith’s Pantry, and the incredible team of volunteers who helped make this initiative possible.
In line with our mission to foster unity and empower our community, this initiative brought residents together and made a meaningful impact during the colder months.
Thank you to everyone who helped make it a success!
